Blunda – var överslätande gentemot stormakten och våldet och glöm demokratins värde. Ungefär så skulle man kunna sammanfatta publicisten Anders Björnssons artikel under SvD Brännpunkt den 15.1. Den är så partiskt osaklig att man kunde tro den var författat på ”Kontora”, FSB: s högkvarter i Moskva.
I sitt nit att stödja Putinregin blundar han för att just denne Putin med stöd från den ljusskygga verksamhet han företräder inom säkerhetstjänsten och delar av militären, totalt har nedmonterat den demokratiska ram som föregångaren Jeltsin trots sina brister ändå förverkligade.
Putin har nationaliserat och tagit kontroll över media i stort sett totalt. Han har utplånat den grad av självständighet som regionerna hade tidigare bland annat genom rätten att själva välja ledning. Och genom manipulation och förföljelse, inklusive mord av politiska motståndare har han sett till att duman helt kontrolleras av stödpartier. Det nyss genomförda valet till duman höll inte de mått som demokratiska val måste mätas med enligt internationella observatörer.
De som idag försöker att opponera sig mot regimen förföljs av säkerhetspolis och inrikestrupper och kallas omedelbart terrorister. Dem har Putin och hans anhang lagstadgat mot på följande sätt.
Moskva den 8 juni 2006: Statsduman antar en lag som ger FSB befogenheter att skicka commandosoldater för att mörda terroristgrupper utomlands.
”Den nya lagen ger möjlighet att efter beslut av presidenten använda FSB: s specialenheter mot terrorister och baser utanför ryska federationens territorium i syfta att avvärja hot mot ryska federationen”, säger Michail Grishankov, vice ordförande i dumans säkerhetsutskott.
Med den lagen som bas mördas oppositionella som Anna Politkovskaja hösten 2006 i Moskva och Alexander Litvinenko några veckor senare i London. Med den lagen som bakgrund går ingen kritiker säker för det paranoida väldets långa arm.
Det bekymrar med rätta svenska rysslandskännare. Att Anders Björnsson nu rycker ut som det ryska förtryckets advokat är skrämmande. Betecknande nog nämns det ryska folkmordet i Tjetjenien inte överhuvudtaget i hans artikel.
Så långt sträcker sig tydligen inte Björnssons känsla för demokrati.

Garri Kasparov opposing Putin - still alive
Close your eyes – overlook the violence by the great power and forget the value of democracy. That’s in essence a way of summarizing the article by columnist Anders Björnsson in the daily paper Svenska Dagbladet on January 15th. The article lacks of objectivity to the extent that it could have been produced by “Kontora”, the headoffice of FSB, the renamed KGB in Moscow.
In his aim supporting the Putin regime Björnsson prefers not to acknowledge the dismantling of the democratic system, Putin is responsible for. This process has been supported by the “under cover” people of the organisation he is part of (FSB) as well as part of the military system.
Putin has nationalized and taken control of media in general. He has wiped out the degree of independence regions had including the election of their leadership. And through manipulation and harassment including murder of political opponents, the Russian duma now is totally controlled by supporters of The Putin -gang. The elections held in December 2007 did not meet the standards for fair elections according to independent observers.
Those who try to oppose the regime today, is met by military and special troops and immediately named terrorists. For those people the Putin - controlled duma has shaped a special law with the following content:
Moscow 8 June 2008:
The state Duma accepted a law giving FSB the authority to send commandos for killing of terrorist groups abroad in other countries.
“The new law gives the president the right to use FSB special units against terrorists and their bases outside Russian federation territory for the sake to eliminate threats against the Russian federation” says Michail Grishankov , vice president of the duma security council.”
With this law as motive, opposing leaders are murdered, Anna Povlitkovskaya in Moscow late 2006, and Alexander Litvinenko in London a few weeks later among others. With this law and the presidents permission, no-one is anywhere in the world safe from the paranoid violence of the Russian state.
This worries friends of Russia and Swedish experts of Russia a lot. Anders Björnsson now takes the position as a solicitor for the Putin regimes oppression of democratic values which is amazing.
To be noted is also that he does not with a word mention the Russian genocide on the chechenian people in his article.
So much for his sense for democracy.
